Newscasters said this big a snow, with leaves still on trees was a 100 year event. SO...how bad is it, if you are "in that zone"? I guess you can only answer if you have power to answer with!!!

It almost never snows here. It certainly isn't snowing now.

This is the earliest we've ever gotten snow! We got a few inches that is now mostly melted but we have nasty ICE! Thank you for your warm wishes, we could use them!!!

We had snow and it stuck, but conditions weren't awful. Crazy weather though. sheesh!

I think my sister ended up with somewhere around 20" of snow or so. Other areas near her got around 30" I think. I'm really happy I'm here and not there to have to deal with not only all of the snow that just fell, but also the potential flooding when it all melts in a week.

Thankfully we only got some light snow and wind here yesterday as the storm was passing by. It had all melted away by this afternoon.

Not very great around here. Major destruction to trees because of the weight of the snow No power at my house either...or for about 97% of the town.
