In case you don't remember, Spot was the 7-Up mascot, and the star of some commercials and his own Super Nintendo and Gameboy games. I had the Gameboy game in the early 90s.

I feel horribly unnerdy for not knowing who he is, especially since I couldn't even come up with the right keywords to google until I read your second post. (I felt so very, very unintentionally racist when I wound up accidentally pulling up the wiki page on the Bindi).

I can't believe that a 7-up mascot had a game. And a sequel to that game. And a spin-off puzzle version. Thank you for educating me (and I mean that it a sincere, I-love-pub-trivia sort of way).

I remember Spot and I played the first Spot game on my NES!

I also actually liked the Noid, who also had a video game if I remember correctly.

1988 here...and I suppose not, considering I thought it was an emoticon version of that red dot "helper" thing in MS Word (one of the many entertaining replacements for the paperclip guy that I used to play with in computer class. xD)
