I'm great with managing money. My husband gets paid bi-weekly, and I know when all of our bills are due. I make sure we set aside the money we need from each paycheck and they get paid before we use the money for anything else.

I manage the money and bill paying and try and keep things balanced, timely, etc. Usually I'm pretty good about it, but I won't call myself perfect.

I have never had any problems with money management, or plans to reduce and eliminate debts. But real life happens from time to time where things come up and derail all logical plans.

We have always worked closely together to stay on top of our finances. The only debt we have is what remains on our mortgage. Through the years we have been frugal...and lucky enough to keep an emergency fund to cover those inevitable surprises that pop up from time to time.

We always get our bills out on time, even if it does make money extremely tight to the point where I may have to visit a food pantry just to make it by, but thankfully we won't have to worry so much whereas I may have finally found a job.

If your unfortunate enough to not be able to pay your bills, you should probably not be shopping for prodcucts sold here.

I'm surprisingly really great at managing my money. My partner is a spender, I'm a saver. So naturally, I control a majority of the finances and pay all of the bills. We've never paid anything late.

Because I'm paying off my student loans, bills are one of the things that I panic the most about. I hate being in debt, and I'm hoping that I won't be for much longer! Though of course, I'm going back to school before long and I'll wind up owing more money, but at least I'll have a clear conscience for a little while.

We have great historical credit score - but I'm unemployed now and things are getting tight. Next question is whether to tap the 401k.

We ran into some financial difficulties last year and are still working on that but things are getting better and we're able to keep up to date with most of our bills.

Since I have a very low income, I make sure to -always- do my budget over every month, sometimes more then once, just to make sure I have everything settled. I always pay my bills, but I am sometimes late paying because the due date is sooner then my payday. There has been a few times I haven't been able to pay the full amount, but I just pay it off the month after.

I do believe what makes this site special, is that even the financially strapped can write reviews & do other point accumulating activities. Once they have enough saved, they can buy what they want with points! Several of my EF friends wouldn't be able to afford anything if it weren't for this amazing system! I, for one, am glad they have a way to afford safe products that enhance their well being -- maybe it will offset some of the stress from their finances!

I disagree with that statement. Eden has a lot of opportunity for people to be able afford products from their site.

I can always pay rent on time, no questions asked. Same with utilities, I'm never late on those. My medical bills however, they're pretty lenient about, and I KNOW it, so when I need extra time I'll just take it. I can't wait until those med bills are gone, augh.

I hope your job comes through. Good luck. It feels good to work and finally be able to pay for what you need.

I agree. I would have nowhere near the extensive collection of toys if it wasn't for Eden's programs, points, former "toy per month" and the DR program.

I'm not currently reviewing, but I do want to get back to it so I can get some new toys. Most I have require little if any cash, it's mostly points, earned toys and the former free toys to review.
