I'm just wondering what other college, graduate or otherwise, students there are on this thread. That's all.
Are you currently attending college?

When I became sick, I left the Dairy scene, I'm currently working as a leasing agent for two Investment property owners: one in PA, one in NY.
In addittion I'm taking online business classes and am in the process of starting a small business.

Associate of Science for Office Administration. I hope the economy has jobs by the time I get my degree. Or it could just be the area I live in that sucks ...

Your "not in college" tab sure leaves a lot of open room too. Everything from high school drop out to someone who already has an MD, JD and five PhD's would all fall there!!!

How about an "I'm finished with college for now and received _____ degree " selection? Not all of us are teens and 20somethings here.

I'm working on a bachelors in Biology and then I'm heading off to med school!

Bachelors in Psychology and then heading off to grad school for human sexuality studies and counseling. Yay!
I always thought it was really funny that so many of us are college educated. It seems disproportionate to the general population.

No I was in an Associate program, getting my basics out of the way, deciding what exactly I wanted my major to be... but then a lot of things happened and I had to drop out. I'm only about 18 credits away from my Associate's Degree
I'd love to go back some day. Maybe switch from an English Major and Psychology Minor to Psychology Major and English Minor. -shrugs- But... I dunno when I'll be able to. I'm terrified to take out loans.

Nope, I am too busy for school right now. I have a two year old and a 7month old. I do not have time to go to college. Mostly because we do not want to send our kids to day care. I will one day do it maybe when my oldest is in school and my youngest will be the only one home, unless I have another. I will only do an online school though. I am not going to class again, I am done with that I graduated high school. Plus I do not want $60,000 loans on something that is not a house. Plus not to mention most people who get out of college today can not even get a job in their field. So I am not doing that. I will go to an online school take the whole 2years it will take to do a job from home, like medical coding and billing and only take out at max $20,000 loan. I still do not know about that. Seems crazy to me that education cost this much.

I got my Masters back in 1987 - but my wife and 2 kids are in college, so it seems like I'm back there again!

Nope! As someone else pointed out we're not all younger here. I completed my Bachelor's in Business Administration in 2003. If I ever go back, it will be to get enough credits to sit on the CPA board, not to get a Master's degree I don't believe.

I'm looking to get into Sys admin type positions but the degrees they look for mostly are unrelated (mostly) to the job performed... mostly computer programming/software engineer ... so I'm in a rut for now
09/27/2011
Nope, not in college. I got my BS in math and computer science back in 2001. But now I'm working back at the same college I went to. It makes me feel old when I realize how much younger the current students are.

my 5th & final yr! this is my last semester of classes. i have to get an internship next semester that's fashion related. once i finish that, i can graduate. they say i can walk at the end of this semester, but i don't see the pt in walking at graduation & getting the cover to your degree & not having the actual thing in the cover. i told them i would just walk in the spring. i would have graduated last yr if i hadn't changed my major so many times.
