You would probably have gotten better results doing this in a multiple choice private poll

I have Bipolar I. I'm on more medication than I can list. I honestly don't know what to say on how I deal. I don't usually do it very well. I see two doctors and try my best to stay on top of things. Mostly I take my meds and hope for the best, but I tend to be treatment resistant.

I feel the same. I just went manic and bought over $200 on clothes the other day and now I feel horrible. I'm on medication but I still feel unstable.

I don't know enough about medication to make this a poll

I'm in the middle of a mixed episode (my first mixed one, normally I swing one way or the other). I think my total spending in the manic moments is over $1500. X.x I have really awful spending issues when I'm manic. Considering I have no income while I'm waiting on SSDI, it's a BIG issue.

I have to switch up my meds every few months. Even though they help me have less episodes, I feel unstable all the time too. I also have Panic Disorder, ADD, and OCPD tendencies. So I pretty much never have a normal moment.

I completely agree with this statement.

I'm bipolar and take a variety of medications for it. The combination I'm on now is working very well. This is the first time I've felt normal (whatever that is) in years. If I don't take the meds I tend to spend a lot of money that I don't have, drink alcohol excessively and get into trouble when I'm on an upswing. On the downside, I get extremely depressed, sometimes suicidal and I won't leave the house unless I absolutely have to.

I have been diagnosed as such, and was on medication, lamotrigine, for many years. But I stopped using it and feel fine

I haven't been diagnosed with it (I tend to resist seeing doctors), but I wonder sometimes...

I'm not bipolar, but my mother is. She wasn't medicated for most of her life and just recently went on meds to help.
Let's just say that throughout her life she's had some...interesting moments.
