I have done it a billion ways in my life - used to keep my pc on just to be online while I am asleep too, then was online always it was on, and then just sometimes... Lately I barely even sign into any of the apps and sites for such purposes, because I am so extremely busy lately, and I am totally content with my Master's Company, nobody else needed... ^^
Are you available for your online friends 24/7? :)

My phone has internet access and is always on. It will receive e-mail, text and instant messages. I check it once every few hours (other than when I am sleeping). So I wouldn't say I am around 24/7, but I do get online every few hours.

Not 24/7, but I spend a significant amount of time online so almost? Haha.

If anybody needs to be able to get a hold of me and have me not be right at the computer, they have my phone number. Although I can check a number of online things through my phone, I don't make a habit of being able to chat with people using my phone and being online from it.

I am online A LOT. I wouldn't say that I am online for THEM per se though. I will randomly check my facebook and write back if needed, but I don't sit there waiting for them lol. If they need me that badly, they know my number.

I am online a lot but I don't keep my computer on all the time

I used to be online all the time but it became really draining to do. Now I'm only on when my computer is on and 75% of the time I'll be invisible, then.

I'm online around 6 hours a day average. I don't have online friends and don't im much. If people need to contact me, non-instant types of communication are best... like email or text or phone.

You know that if you turn off T-Mobile, you can totally surf the web with your phone through a wi-fi hotspot at no charge.

I am online almost 24/7 but I'm not necessarily logged into chat progs and other social networks.

I NEVER want to be 100% available to anyone except my husband and my kids.
I can easily go a month without signing on to Facebook, I often let both my home phone ring and my cell use voice mail, I refuse to be a slave to "constant availability."
I like my own time. I don't belong to anyone except my family.
My two older kids sleep with their phones and it drives me crazy. One of my daughter's friends is a drama queen and often calls her at 3:00 AM to discuss some drama, then my daughter complains about it the next morning. I've asked her to put the phone on vibrate or simply turn off the ringer, but.... I don't understand that kind of constant availability to other people.

24/7? No, definitely. I try and take certain times of day where I am completely disconnected from the world of the web (like when I'm asleep), but otherwise I usually keep things up and going so if someone really needs to get in contact I am not too hard to reach.

I am online a lot, but do take time for myself as well. Especially in the summer months. I do still check my computer but determine how immediate the attention needed can be taken care of. If I am online, I will get back ASAP, however it is usually withing a few hours to one day.
04/16/2012
I check my e-mail maybe 3-4 times a day.
04/16/2012
I am online sometimes. But if anyone needed to get a hold of me, they can call me.
04/16/2012
I'm only online about an average of about 4 to 5 hours a day, maybe more on the weekend when I'm not working.

Being in a long distance relationship, I try to be online as often as possible so that he and I can talk frequently.
