Do you put tasks off until the last minute, or get things done ahead of deadline?
Are you a procrastinator?

Sometimes very much so. I procrastinate over certain reviews so much that it takes an atom bomb to get me started on them.

I'll get back to you on this.

Unfortunately, yes, quite often. But surely not always I was veeeeery responsible while at school and during first 3 years of university. But then I just got tired of doing everything right away and pushing myself to the limit.
My boyfriend used to listen to some audio book about dealing with procrastination. He even gave it to me, but... I'm procrastinating it lol

I'm awful about procrastinating, I wish I didn't do it so much. I'm trying to get better about it but I never seem to.

I try to not wait till the last minute but sometimes it happens
10/11/2011
It depends. If it's something I really don't want to do, I wait until the last possible second. Otherwise, I do it right away.

I used to be a procrastinator to the nth degree, it was necessary for my survival in a few of the companies I've worked for in the past. Not being efficient and being too efficient are equally problematic when the work load never increases, so I had to learn how to make it look like I was pacing myself to get through eight hours of work, when in reality I only had about two and a half hours of work every day that I needed to complete.
Since that is no longer a concern, I move at my usual rapid-fire pace unless it's something I'm ethically uneasy about in the first place.

When I was in school, I got everything done on time or early. I just did. No one forced me into it, I just did it. But now I'm just like "ehhhh, I'll put that away later" or "Meh, those dishes can wait until tomorrow."
Here's a great example. My bed has been "naked" for the last week because I haven't felt like putting my sheets back on my bed (primarily because I'm moving into a different room of the house, but just haven't been able to clean in there properly yet).

Depends on what it is. If I know I absolutely have to get it done, I'll even get it done early. If it's kinda iffy or I can put it off, I procrastinate.
10/11/2011
No, not really. I prefer to get things done in a timely manner, then if I have a problem or something goes wrong (or I get sick, or so on) there's time to fix the issue and recover the project without being late. I used to be a procrastinator, but once I started having health issues that can interfere with things in a major way, I couldn't afford to procrastinate anymore. I might get too sick at the last minute to do what I need to do, so if it's already finished then at least I still get it done.
My man's a procrastinator though. lol

It depends. I am very well organized with most things. I don't like to procrastinate about things. But sometimes I really dread doing things so I will put it off for a while.

It drives me nuts to have anything looming over my shoulder to do so I do it all immediately no matter what the task is.
10/11/2011
It depends. Most of the time I get things done ahead of time, other times I leave it until the last minute. I guess it really depends on how I'm feeling that day/week/etc lol

It depends on what it is. I used to procrastinate about absolutely everything, but lately I've been more on top of just getting things done so I don't have to worry about them anymore.

Currently procrastinating right now...

I'm just the opposite. I used to get things done immediately, but have been procrastinating a lot the past few years, hate myself for that!

EF is one of my favourite procrastination tools I should be reading for school right now! I'll procrastinate writing my reviews until the last minute too, unless (like now) I have more pressing matters at hand and then all I want to do is work on reviews as procrastination. Ah well, at least something's getting done, even if it's not the thing that's due first.

I am not a procrastinator. I am married to one. He waited til the day before we were going to get married; mind you we already had the license; to purpose. Seriously, I can not stand it sometimes. I hate waiting til the last minute to do everything.
Also recently had to replace the tires on the car. We went to walmart to do it; since they are the only ones who do it on Sunday. They told us at least a 2hr wait to have it looked at. He decided that we would wait til he got the time. On his way home from work 2 days later, what happens but not one but two flat tires. Luckily he had a doughnut and fix a flat, but oh no what happened next. He let the neighbor borrow the tools to change tire; and he left them on the porch instead of putting them where they belong. So it is a good thing AAA does jobs like this. LOL What luck huh.

Although I procrastinate on a lot of things, I never let that happen to safety related issues. When I suspect something's not right with my tires, I'll stop by at America Tires (where my tires were bought and installed) to have them inspected and aired. If I don't do that, I'll be stressed-out whenever I'm behind the wheel! I'm a longtime AAA member, most years I only get free maps and guidebooks from them, but it's reassuring to know assistance is available whenever I need it.

I can be. It is the reason I am madly trying to finish an order for 7 hats that I was asked to do like a month or 2 ago

when there is a deadline I tend to put it off
