Are there any floor sitters out there anymore?

When I was in my teens and even through my twenties, when we would hang out, even if there was furniture around, we would always "sit on the floor". I don't know why. A couch was just a good back rest.

Now, when I see photos of young people, they are all over the furniture. They use it as it was intended.

Anyone still just choose the floor over using the furniture?

I'm 29 with two kids of my own and I'll still sometimes choose the floor! It really depends on the setting and who I'm with.

90% of the time I prefer the floor, I'll be 23 next month.
it's just more comfy, and in a personal setting, more intimate (:

same here, till my knees got bad. I still actually miss being able to sit comfy on the floor. When I do, however, getting up becomes a chore.

It depends. I can't sit on tile, but I'm fine sitting on carpet.
