I believe she is talking about the caterpillar stage of these link Also known as Wolly bears and, apparently, furry wormies. I am not 100% sure, though.

I loved catching them as a child. I have only found one to show my kids. I wish they were around more like they used to be.

I love caterpillars! Ever since I was a kid, hundreds of them show up where I live. We used to stick them all over us and play outside for hours until they fell off. Lol. I love those little guys! They were covered on our porch the other day. I was in the car and my neice said she had me a surprise. I closed my eyes and she put one of the caterpillars in my hand! Lol. They're so soft!

I love those cute little things! I can't even remember how many times my mother freaked out when I'd bring one home that I found at school. x'D
I was always notorious for bringing home strays, random caterpillars, and frogs when I was a child. The best thing I ever brought home though was a painted turtle I rescued moments before it was going to get run over (poor little guy was in the middle of the road, we took the leeches off it and kept it for a few days so we were sure it was okay then released it back by the brook it lived in).

I hate them. I spend a lot of time outside and I like to eat my lunch outside, but not till they go away again. We have 2 types here that sting! Between pollen and caterpillars I have to say I'm not a fan of spring.

Not generally a fan of bugs of any species here, but my 2 year old thinks they are fascinating so I tolerate picking them up and stuff for him.

If you're talking about caterpillars, then absolutely! Actually I like the not furry version too. At my local pet store, they sell HUGE caterpillars as treats for lizards and I totally would have bought a couple for my kids if I had any. Cheapest, most educational pet ever. I used to raise meal worms
