I went to HP world over break in Florida and was wondering if anyone else went and if they were disappointed or not.
Anyone been to Harry Potter World?

I haven't been but oh my god I want to go so bad. I was planning on taking my honeymoon in Orlando just so I could go but, alas, all of the hotels I can stay in that week are booked already.

No and have no intentions of going.

It looks like a lot of fun. But I have not been.

I went, and absolutely loved it! The lines were a bit extreme, but we had a lot of fun, and I could have ridden that ride in Hogwart's about a million times more

I haven't been but would love to go!

I voted "other" because I actually had never heard of this before lol... I'm clearly out of the loop.

I want to go SO BAD! I went to the Harry Potter Exhibit that had props from the movie a few years ago for my birthday and it rocked!

Got a life to live.. I'd rather go to Maui ...

I've heard Universal Studios doesn't even have that much.

Nope I haven't been yet but maybe sometime in the future

I've read the books, but that's as far as I care to take it. Before this minute, I had no idea there was such a place as Harry Potter World.

I went during a Wizarding convention - so we got to hang out in the park after hours and the lines were nonexistent! (Even with 1,000 of us there.) I say it is worth it. I had only gone on the Hogwarts' ride, which I loved - imagine the waiting line going through every part of the school until you finally get to board a "flying bench" (with safety harness) and then you "fly" at top speed inside and outside the castle in a mixture of animatronic and CGI screens while you're twisted and turned every way. The rest of it - a replica of Hogsmeade with Diagon Alley shops - is quaint and charming, and makes me want to make a real version of the village somewhere out there.
Although I fell in love with the frozen butterbeer - it's like a caramel Slurpee/Icee.
Oh, and a group of us had way too much not-allowed-during-reg ular-park-hours fun around the Hogwarts Express. (We drove the poor guy playing the Conductor crazy.)

I've never heard of it... & I'm not interested.

I've been there about 4 or 5 times and it's still so much fun! I mean, yes, the lines for a lot of the things were long (since it IS Harry Potter) and yes, Olivander only picks the kid in the front, and yes, the stuff is expensive (it's Orlando, what do you expect?), but the rides are so much fun. At this point the lines aren't really as long as they used to be. The first time I went on Forbidden Journey, I had to wait 2 hours, but now it's practically walk-on. It's a little small, but you have to understand that to build it, they cut The Lost Continent in half. Also they're building another Harry Potter-themed area on the Universal Studios side with a train across them for park hoppers.

I've heard gushing reviews from people I know who've gone.

I would like to go someday.

I have been and it is really nice, almost all its cracked up to be.

I had really wanted to go until I realized a major portion of it is roller coasters. I'm terrified of coasters.

There's only a few coasters. Forbidden Journey isn't a coaster and it's my favorite ride there!
