I'm wondering who out there is on anti-depressants and what it's done to your weight. I have gained a whopping 20 lbs in the last few months because of them. They really make my appetite go crazy and I'm trying my hardest to keep in under control. Anyone gaining or even losing weight from meds? How do you control your cravings?

Interesting---I've been on an antidepressant since August, and I've actually lost weight. I know they're supposed to reduce your sex drive---my sex drive is just fine, but it's like my body never gets the 'hey, your stomach's empty!' signal anymore. I kept going whole days without eating and then getting really really cranky at 9pm... finally realized it was lack of calories, and I started setting an alarm to remind me to eat three times a day.
So... set an alarm? Have lots of veggies already chopped and waiting for you to eat them when you're hungry and the alarm hasn't gone off?
Best of luck!

My sex drive actually went up since I started them. I really need to get some exercise too.

I was on Wellbutrin and I lost weight, about 20 pounds in the 6 months I was on them. My sex drive didn't die, either, it may have increased. Wellbutrin acts as an appetite suppressant.

Not an appetite suppressant for everyone, though. ---->
