When push came to shove, our little group decided that the best definition we could come up with for real LOVE, is caring MORE about the happiness of someone else then of yourself. Caring more for their safety and well being, then of your own.
That was LOVE, best as we could frame it.
LOTS of things went INTO making someone love someone else, humor, trust, common goals, common interests, shared values....etc.
But what constituted the real issue of LOVE. What WAS it? That was a far fuzzier issue.
