The hair and litterbox are the most irritating--but I would not give them up for anything!!

We have three cats, so between them they get into a lot of trouble! Most of it is pretty amusing, but we have to be careful about what we leave lying around because all of the cats tend to eat things they shouldn't, including clothes!

I loooove my kitties!
The younger one (about 3) still has yet to figure out the litter box. He gets everything in the box (most of the time) but cant figure out how the litter works... he will scratch the side of the box and the wall next to the box for at least 10 minutes before he gives up. Then our older cat (who does know how to use the litter box and is slightly OCD about it) will come in and cover what the younger left behind lol.

Back when I had cats, they tend to lay across whatever I'm reading or working on (one even licked the item in question until she made a hole in it - I lost more teen magazines that way). Mine also had a habit of laying on my pillow next to my head - only two actually played with my hair while I was trying to sleep (amusing when I was 8, annoying when I was 30).
C's cat is the most codependent cat I've ever met - he will lay on people as soon as they sit down, verbally demands to be petted, and will yowl in the kitchen when he realizes he's alone. I understand he's gotten better since he was fixed - he used to get up on C's back while fucking his last girlfriend and surf on his back. Oh, and he'd dive-bomb that girlfriend from the headboard while yowling "DEATH FROM ABOVE!" when she was sound asleep. (He's never done it to me. Heh.)

Our little kitty is mostly a really good guy. He tracks a bit of litter out of the box, but he really is mostly good with his litter box habits.
The main thing I don't like is that he likes to get up under the covers of the bed after it's made - then he bathes there and leaves clumps of fur (along with the occasional scab, because he has some feline acne that he picks at) and that kind of grosses me out.
He scratched up the furniture in the past too, but since then we put slip covers on everything and I'm trimming his nails once a week too. That seems to be helping him. He has other places to scratch... he just preferred the furniture for a while there.
He sometimes tries to get in your face and in your food when you're eating, but if you tell him no 2 or 3 times he usually gives up.
I complain about him sometimes, but he really is mostly a good boy. He's good for getting his nails trimmed, taking his medicine, getting his shots & vet checks... and he's finally come around and started playing with the puppy. Really shouldn't complain about him too much, especially when I hear horror stories from my friends about how naughty their cats are!

My kitten is a Russian Blue that I got for free outside of a pet smart. She loves water and spilling it all over the place.

My cats never shut up, and one of them pees on everything.

My cats meow a lot, they kick litter out of the box, I cannot eat yogurt in peace because they are in my face wanting it, knocks over stuff, knocks stuff off of the counter and puts things under the fridge, gets fur on everything, walks in front of me, and begs to get under the covers when I am sleeping. SO ANNOYING!!!! I can't sleep!

My cat would be damn near perfect if she didn't keep peeing in random spots in the basement. She's gotten a lot better about using her litter box lately, though.

Our cats scream at us early in the morning, one pisses and craps all over the floor if he's not let out, one launches off of our laps with her claws if she hears anything, and one bathes REALLY loudly and it sounds disgusting.

One cat knocks things over and the other pees on them. Great team, those cats.

I love my baby kitty. Well, she's 8, so I guess she's not really a baby. She loves my mom and I, but she won't let anyone else near her.

The hair is a constant problem but besides that my cats lay on my laptop. I'll come back and not only is there a cat there but whatever keys got pressed, the font size or something else with the display has been completely changed!

We have a cat that tries to sleep on top of us every night.

Mine has long hair and sometimes when he uses the litter box some of his poo gets stuck on his fur and he kind of just drops it wherever haha. That can get pretty annoying, but he can't help it.

My cat pees outside the litterbox when it's perfectly clean (I just cleaned it). I NOT understand that crap...He also likes to get SUPER hyper at random hours before the sunrises and meow like no one's home. He has the loudest meow and it's so annoying sometimes when he just meows for NO reason.
He also likes to throw up hairballs early in the AM...it's loud and annoying too.

Mine decided to climb up the tree and knocked off all the ornaments...

God, so many things...one meows constantly and starts sometimes at sunrise...grr gets on my nerves. That and almost all the things listed here...sigh

I have 2 kitties and they both want to sleep on my side of the bed and on top of me, they pretty much take over my sleeping space. But I love them to pieces and won't move them because I'm silly. Sigh...

Cats. What are ya gonna do? I've never had a cat that hasn't done at least one of those things. The meowing I can overlook; it's like a toddler talking incessantly.

My vet has a sign that says, "cats are like potato chips, you can't have just one." We currently have three, and I love their individual personalities. On the flip side, they can drive you nuts. They all go outdoors and we have one that comes back inside just to use the litter box. Drives me nuts.
