We love Japanese "cooking on the table" style, but we also like a nice "fancier" place like Ruths Chris. What is your favorite "Chain" Steak house? (Since we cannot come to your town, for local steak house dinners...we need opinions on National Chains or Regional ones (Southern USA), since we can get to many of those!

It's not a chain (yet) but Stoney River has the best steak I've ever had in my life. If I had to pick a chain it would be Ruths Chris. Everything else pales in comparison.

I like both Outback and Texas Roundhouse for budget options, Ruth's Chris is great for something more formal/pricey.

You don't make your geographic location specific enough to make this very easy. Along with Ruths Chris, Morton's and Lawry's are pretty good chains.

Sadly I've been rather disappointed absolutely every time that I've had steak at Outback, Longhorn, Chili's, Fridays or any of the other casual dining places I've been to. They may do burgers or ribs OK but steak... forget it.
