I've had a bat swoop in pretty close to my head. A bear once visited our camp ground while we slept and left a present for us to find in the morning. I've seen wild deer in my grandparents' yard. I've seen an alligator in the same yard from about twenty feet away.

I had a goose attack me as I ran by as I was running on a nature trail when I was 17 or so. I don't know if it pecked or bit or what happened, but it cut me on my face and I had to go to the dr. It was pretty embarrassing to get beat up by a goose lol

I'd hate to see how I would fare against a more dangerous animal.
