I was at a seminar today and the speaker asked an interesting question. At age 13, what was your biggest fear? Do you remember? What caused that fear?

Moving and going to a brand new high school in a brand new district where I didn't know a single soul. The fear was substantial and confirmed upon my first day of my freshman year. I did not belong in that district, around those people, in that system. I needed to be at my quad-A school, with my friends, in the neighborhood I knew and loved.

But, if I hadn't moved, I never would have met the love of my life. So, it's all a wash now.

Being hungry. We were seriously poor and did not have enough food. Most of the time I only ate the lunch at school, I stold a book on edible plants and that helped feed my brother and I. I am still worried about that and have had disorders because of that lifestyle.
