Ok, so who is gonna get one? It's supposed to be the iPad-killer though it has a lot of differences from the Apple tablet. The best of the differences is, of course, the price. But is there anyone waiting in line for one?

If I hadn't just bought a tablet (not an iPad) I would probably get one of these. Although when mine dies I may replace it with something like this.

dang it! I just got my Nook last spring too!

The big sale on this, for me, is the media capability. Otherwise, it's more for less! The Nook was $250 when I got it.

Wow, this actually seems pretty cool. And such an affordable price! I think they're definitely going to undercut a large chunk of the iPad's market. Maybe not all of it, but certainly a chunk of it.

Yeah, I already own one of the first generation tablets. But I'm a tech junkie and there's always a chance I'll get more. I actually really want a basic kindle just for reading purposes right now. It's easier on the eyes to use e-ink rather than my LED screen.

And I really need a new mp3 player too... Yummmm gadgets.

I am waiting til they come out with one with 3G and hopefully a camera, until then I am holding out.

I don't even find these things worth it. I bought an iPad and just took it back. It's easier to use my laptop and smart phone.

Not for me. I have an aversion to the whole touch screen thing, and I'm happy enough with my laptop and our Kindle 3 anyway.

I am NOT a person who keeps up with the latest technology. I have an enormous, heavy, piece of junk laptop. I don't have a smart phone. I still play video games on my gameboy and my N64. I also love, love, love the physical presence of books in my life. I have an enormous library (library meaning "collection of books", rather than "room where I keep my massive collection of books"...I WISH I had a real library!). I was really averse to the whole ebook thing...BUT...

The Kindle Fire has hooked me. I don't know why. The minute I saw it, I wanted it. After watching videos and researching it...I still wanted it. I've preordered mine and I am impatiently awaiting its arrival. Just about one more week!

I also really want one with a camera, microphone, and 3G access. I will most likely save up some money so I can upgrade when they inevitably come out with one that has those capabilities. For now, I look forward to seeing if I love it as much as I think I will!
