So I've noticed that the more sex toys I have, the more I want. The more I want, the more I get. If it is an addiction, it's not an unhealthy one...yet.

Mine started as a hobby, but it's grown so big that I class it as an addiction now. But I can't stop - I'm in too deep and the company's keep teasing me with new and exciting looking items!

I am starting to feel this way also as of recent. I WANT MORE TOYS, so definitely getting more addicted. But I need to earn more points and make a large order. Don't have a lot of money right now.

I am more addicted to the site than I am to the sex toys. Hello my name is Beck and I am an Eden Addict!

Mine's an addition, I'm quite sure! All my extra money goes to sex toys. It's sad. lol Better than drugs or alcohol, right?

Absolutely. I was just thinking, "Man, I'm jonesing... I have no EF boxes coming this week!"

An addiction, medically speaking, is when someone engages in an activity that:
causes harm to themselves or others,
prevents them from taking care of normal daily needs, like working, sleeping, eating, bathing, socializing etc,
craves the activity and will harm themselves or others to engage in it,
has tried to stop and is unable to,
and had some realization that the behavior brings more harm to their lives than good.
I see few people who could actually be "addicted" to either sex toys or sex.
Are you using your sex toys to the exclusion of bathing and eating? Are you stealing from your partner or parents or roommates to get money to buy more toys? Have you robbed a bank or knocked over a gas station to get sex toy money? Are the toys negatively affecting your social life? Do you know instinctively you need to stop?
No? You aren't addicted.

Mine may negatively effect my social life. Well, reviewing them does at least. LOL Using them to a lesser extent.

Sex toys can actually become an addiction, just like anything else. People with addictive personalities are more prone to having addictions to such things that they either find pleasure or displeasure in. I personally wouldn't call my love for sex products and knowledge to be an addiction; for me, it's more of a leisure and pleasure.

I don't *feel* addicted, but I'd probably be the last to know. I'm pretty sure most of my friends would be shocked to see how many sex toys I have, though.

I'm very new to the site. It has opened my eyes. I'm more addicted to the site and learning than anything else.
