I just send a message thanking an ice cream company for selling a flavor that I really like. It might sound a bit much, but I've been searching for that flavor for quite a while. Would you send a message thanking a company, whether it be for a favorite ice cream flavor to a favorite sex toy?
A thank you to a company

I've done something like that before, but forgot what it was for.

my mom did that for a certain ketchup she really liked and they sent her a free package of it.

I do this sometimes.

If I was looking for a product for a long time, and finally found a company that sold it I prob would. Just out of curiosity..... What was the flavor of ice cream? I've been looking for the flavor "Tiger tale" for ever. But can't find it

Heck I just sent one to target for the excellent service I got while searching for something for my kid. I called 3 other places and nobody was interested in helping me but the guy at target went above and beyond.
Companies need the feedback to know what is working and what isn't.

Yes, but only if they did something outstanding.

I'd think about it, if it's something I really liked. I'm tempted to send Arizona Iced Tea one for the Black and White tea they make. I LOVE it!

People love positive feedback. I try to thank companies whenever I feel they've gone above and beyond, especially if it's a smaller company.

I have thanked Eden Fantasy's for carrying something recently and asked that they carry more

If Doritos ever start selling the normal salsa flavor again, I'll write in to thank them. *hopeful*

I think Kemps deserves a letter from me, now that you mention it. And maybe Mrs. Renfro's as well, for their incredible habanero salsa.

I do send in positive feedback when I get exceptional service or am happy with something I get--but I also write in when I'm unhappy so I feel that there should be some kind of mutuality.

I like thanking people when they really try to help me out. I think if more people were thankful, the world would be an easier place to live.

I love sending feedback to companies, positive or negative. I think companies should know if I am satisfied with their products.
02/19/2012
Hellz yeah. It'd make a person feel good, whoever receives the 'thankyou' letter.

I have done this. If a company has gone out of its way to be helpful, then they deserve praise and feedback for that.

Oh, that sounds like a good tactic for getting free stuff...

id love to but not something id normally do

I think it's a good idea for the company to know how much their products are liked.

Too often, they only hear the negative so I totally would.

This is true, most customers would rather bitch and complain than offer constructive feedback.

Companies love hearing feedback and if it's positive, they know they're doing something right.
