I was just wondering if a man should have what is call his "Man Cave", do you think that women should also have such a place called a "Women Cave"? Do women have such a place and are designed for the same purpose too? You tell me!
If a man should have something called a Man Cave, do you think a woman also have a similar Cave too?

Everyone is entitled to their own space. For some woman it's their own office or craft room. For others it is the garden they have.
My family jokingly refers to my bedroom as me "cave".

Absolutely! I'm talking about all things pink and pretty and not scattered with hair! I'm envisioning a pretty pink and clean spotless place with zero man hair, a toilet seat that doesn't even have a "raise up" option. Oh yes. I am seeing heaven.

...actually for those that have the room for it, it's a fabulous idea.
Lord knows I could use a room like that these days, but we're kind of tight on space so it'll just have to wait.
But yeah...a room where it can be pretty colors, covered in glittery things and plushies, where all the craft supplies have a nicely organized little section? Yes please. ^_^
Gotta agree with Kendra about the toilet too...dunno how many nights I've wandered into the bathroom half asleep and wound up hitting ice cold porcelain. x_x

Mmmm I want an adult cave. Silky sheets and toys.

I refer to my "cave" as my Hobbit Hole...but that might be because I'm short, hairy, drink a lot of beer and eat a lot of delicious food??

Personally, I wouldn't know what to do with myself with a room like that, but I think that it's every person's right to have their own personal, fabulous, well-suited space.
While I couldn't see myself with a living room type thing, I /could/ see having a walk-in closet.

If he has a man cave then the living room is MINE!

Woman cave? Isn't it called "the rest of the house?"

We don't have anything like that in my house... the office is sort of separated between my mom's side and my dad's, but other than that we don't have anything. I think having a separate space for my mom's crafts would be a cute idea. ^ ^ I know some people that have that.

LOL, good answer Kindred. Men need their own space too I would be kicking mine to his man cave. There are some things I don't do all the time and some stuff I don't watch that others do. If you want to watch it then go some place else. My cave is my room, this is my space.

Well, I was hoping for a more sexually stimulating isolated location, but if she has such power over the domain, maybe you should have some say!

They have the cave and we have the rest of the house.

If I were to have a cave, it'd probably be more of a "geek cave", lol
Though my family do refer to my room as my cave, haha

I have one of the outbuildings...it is my sanctuary until he builds my gazebo for me this summer. It is kind of funny, after our kids grew up and moved out we had 3 rooms that were completely unused...and I chose an outbuilding! (Of course it is well built, has power & cold water and an awesome little mini-fridge.) There is something about having my own 'building' even if it is smaller than our bedroom. (He has two workshops but there are misc. items in them, so I don't care about that since some is storage as well....

My bedroom is my "lady cave."

My flat is my lair. It is full of traps and is dangerous for other people.

mine is my bedroom, he doesn't have one

I've been watching Orphan Black. One of the characters, Alison, has this whole neatly organised craft room in her basement that I so wish I could have.
