"Here's the thing: modern day Christmas is pretty weird already. It's a conglomeration of legends involving everything from a supernatural home invader with flying pack animals to a talking snowman.

So when it comes time to make holiday decorations, the line between festive and nightmarish is razor thin. That's how we wound up with..." some of these relatively creepy decorations. I'm not usually too bad about getting creeped out, but some of these creeped me out a little bit. How about you guys?

wowlink those are creepy!I know what you mean i have seen some things im like what the hell is that!its weird because everything almost now days is made to be kinda scary.last christmas i rented a christmas carol..one of my favorite holiday movies..well i got the new jim carey one thinking it would be funny...ya right i sat there like alittle kid scared...seriously i had to turn it off!i guess people are attracted to weird,scary,or creepy things these days...unfortunately

Actually, the taloned ornament ball appeals to my surrealistic side.

The Santa ones are always creepy. The vintage holiday cards with Santa 'watching' over sleeping kids is REALLY disturbing:

I have a few that used to crep me out walking by. Whether it be way to realistic facial expressions or Santas creepy glare there ae just some decorations that should never have the store.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that likes the taloned ornaments. Although I think instead of hanging them on the tree I'd probably just stand them up all over the place lol.
