I was going to do a long post on this, but I decided it would be best to not say anything, and let the article speak for itself.

In the first article, column writer Samantha Brick explains how women hate her because she's so beautiful (link).

In the second, she goes on to say that the backlash she's gained has proved her point (link).

What are your thoughts on this?

(PS: Sorry if there's already been a thread on this. I looked, but couldn't find anything)

I don't hate beautiful girls. I hate shallow girls, girls who use their looks to gain things that everyone else works for, girls that call themselves beautiful, but don't recognize the beauty in others, etc. I have a gorgeous friend with a great personality, and I regularly support her in modeling and all other aspects because she has a good heart.

Oh...and I should also state that Samantha Brick is not beautiful. She's ugly inside and out.

I think some women can be very hateful and spiteful towards women they percieve as being prettier than they are. I know I can be towards women on tv, especially when I am feeling self conscous. There was a commercial on for ice cream bars and this beautiful thin girl is climbing over cars and everything to get an ice cream bar. I turn to my husband and say - Oh yeah, like SHE eats ice cream. He thought that was hillarious.

Every one of my female friends is prettier than I am, and I hold no contempt towards any of them. Having been of a less-than-average attractiveness (I consider myself as looking something like a 4 out of 10 to most people as a female) my entire life, I'm actually thankful that I'm not pretty. I would get into way too much trouble if all of the people I drool over were inclined towards me

That being said, I also know how people (insecure people, I'm ugly but at least I'm secure) can be very petty and vindictive towards the people they envy. THAT being said, this woman isn't particularly attractive, she seems exceptionally paranoid and narcissistic.

Then again, I don't know her or her situation, so who am I to say anything?
