I saw this go up on Facebook actually, and I nearly died laughing. I'm honestly torn between "wow, that's really funny" and "wow, that's so true."

Anywho, I thought some of you might also find it amusing, so I give you Reasons why I need to quit Facebook!

I went through and deleted all the drama llamas and unreliable friends.

I hate going on Facebook. I go every once in a while so my fish don't die. But, I rather go on Facebook than read that Zinn book again.

LOL, I can relate. I do go through my friend list every so often. The people that I find annoying, but I don't want to offend by deleting, I hide their status updates on my news feed. Simple solution I do the same thing when one of my friends pisses me off and I want to not see them for awhile. Out of sight, out of mind, and give me a chance to mellow the fuck out. FB is so much drama....

I recently culled my friends list to just my close personal friends. I figured that I was only deleting people that I didn't like seeing updates from, so they probably didn't want to see mine or had me hidden already anyway

I don't like playing the games because all the companies make them so you must play every few hours or you lose. Ugh.

Sometimes I'll be on for a few hours, but sometimes it's only for a few minutes. I spend much more time here now, lol

That totally happened to me. Except, as far as I know they didnt forward the photos to all of my friends, they posted my topless photo as my Facebook profile pic and then sent it to a handful of my male FB friends. The dude then blocked anybody related to me, and started insulting all my female friends appearances in their photo albums. Some of them blocked me and refused to re add me until I emailed them and explained what had happened.

I do recall him pm'ing a couple of my male friends that i had explosive diarrhea as well. It was a fantastic evening that.

People who do that kind of shit belong in jail and shouldn't be allowed to breed. WTF? It happened to my aunt too. Well the hacking lol.

I got an email from a guy and text from the same guy using my aunt's email and phone saying she and her family were stuck in London with no money. He read her messages and found out they were planning a trip there. To make it realistic, he used details from the messages. He was trying to get money. I thought it was odd and called her house, of course...they were not in London. Everything got fixed but it really freaked out a lot of family. They didn't figure out it was fake as quickly as I did.

I am not going to "quit" facebook but I an certainly not online a whole lot now since I am in the Respiratory Care Program. But, thanks to Posterous.com, Hootsuite.com and meebo.com I am not "on" my twitters or facebooks much those website post my blogs and posts to the right pages. And Meebo I get to chat with all my peeps. I just go on facebook onces or twice a week to check out how people are doing.-Laura

I'm really not on it much anymore. I know how to get a hold of close friends if I want to and there's so much garbage (Join my farm! Cook in my kitchen!, etc.) that I don't want to bother with the clutter of it all.

I'd like to quit Facebook, but it's the only way I keep in touch with a lot of my friends. Also, it's used as a key method of communication at college. I wish it wasn't. Wish I hadn't made one in the first place, really.
