When a friend or family member asks you out to lunch or coffee and says, "My treat!". How do you normally respond? Do you feel funny about it, or do you gladly accept them taking you out? How often do you do this for your family or friends?

That doesn't happen too often with family members. Most of my family members like my mom and brother are often hoping that I can treat. They don't have much money.

I accept graciously and return the favor sometime down the line.

I feel guilty about it

This is always a battle and I never look forward to it when meeting with my folks. They always want to pay so now its whoever says it first gets away with it or if I remember to call dutch before they say "My Treat"

I thank them and accept it. I think it is wrong to turn down a gift and I try to remember to repay their kindness later on. I always get really uncomfortable when people argue over the check though.

I graciously accept and make a point to return the favor. I know it makes me feel good when I treat people and I cannot take that away from others.

I will graciously accept and then next time it will be on me. Though this has not happened in a long time because none of my close friends are here or family for that matter.

My family would never offer. With my friends, I am appreciative and accept. I always return the favor at another time.
