What "creatures of nature" plague (ENLIVEN..to be nicer) YOUR neighborhood????

Okay...I know...they were here first. No hate mail, please....I AM an animal lover and DO enjoy nature, HOWEVER, this morning, as I walk out to the car, I notice the MOLES have torn up a huge section of my lawn...AGAIN (ongoing, multi year battle...where THEY always win). On top of that, the garbage cans have been turned over, and contents strewn everywhere (we are late to hit the road, as we are traveling to a MARATHON this weekend!)...but here I am, all dressed up and picking up egg shells, dirty dog food cans, and rotted chicken guts off the lawn), since the Raccoons decided to visit our cans last night!!!

As if that was not enough, there is a foot high pile of bird food in the grass, when the squirrels have knocked over the bird feeder (despite the fact I have a nice, corn filled SQUIRREL feeder not ten feet away!!!!)

The seagulls have pooped on my car (that I washed last night...as I like to travel with a clean car) AND the deer are all out...so I am sure they will be aiming for my bumper (so I must be sure to drive 20 mph with my high beams on till the sun comes up). It is going to be a LONG,LONG day.

The forces of nature are out to get me this morning!!!!

What "critters" do you have in YOUR area that try to drive you nuts with their antics?

I live in a third-floor apartment that has a balcony that backs into woods and has big trees maybe 6 feet away. There are these motherfing squirrels that make a shrieking noise I have never in my life heard a squirrel make before. It is RIDICULOUSLY loud and has seriously made me contemplate getting a bb gun or something.

Squirrels. I hate them. Tree rats, we call them. We also have some turkey vultures that like to hang around, there's a family of hawks close by and wouldn't you know it, no stray cats.

The squirrels are pesky this time of year since we have a walnut tree in the backyard.

Right now where I live and where I work are plagued by ladybugs...it happens every time this year. And we also have stink bugs at work - yuck! Plus the deer running out on the roads everywhere and the black bears, but that's just fall in NJ!

Just mosquitoes, I don't mind the other critters. Although I could do without some of the stray cats. Some of them are for the most part sweethearts, but there's just too damn many around here.

OMG chickens... Yes it sounds crazy but some chickens, roosters & turkeys have escaped the farm down the road & took up camp at my house & won't go away !! They cock-a-doodle-do & shit all over, tear up my trash & drive my cats insane.

The occasional fox, and the neighbors' roaming cats. Which could be why the foxes are around...

Cat, there are a lot of cats, but since I like cats and don't have one of my own I cool with that.

We have a coyote, that made it into the city. Its a baby/teen so its pretty scared of us, and we havent had any issues from it, so we let it be.

Other then that we have squirrels

Tree rats, aka squirrels. The little buggers can't be content with just stealing out of the bird feeders. No, they have to destroy any feeder that isn't made of metal, and if we stop filling the feeders then they get in the greenhouse and eat plant bulbs. We even tried putting dried corn out just for them in hopes that they'd leave everything else alone, but that just made more squirrels show up.

While I was turning on the lights in my backyard ten minutes ago, saw a skunk scurrying away through the gap underneath my fence into my neighbor's yard, no wonder my dog's been barking a lot at that direction the past few nights!

I don't like to use bird feeders, I scatter shelled raw sunflower seeds on my lawn to feed the backyard birds, and there's a squirrel or two that steal the seeds. It's not a big problem, my dog usually chases them away.

About moles, some people like to leave piles of dog hair on the openings of the molehills, they claim the moles will stay away when they smell the dog's odor.
