I try to shop a few months early for gifts so that it's not a ton of money all at once and I'm prepared, but this year I'm having a hard time getting into the season.

We don't participate in Christmas anymore. At least not in the presents-giving department of things...we have each other and that took damn near almost two decades to achieve, so that's gift enough for us.

I noticed all of the 'early bird' deals but honestly they just seem like the regular sales that go on around Xmas time. I was not too impressed with anything so I haven't shopped yet. I am looking forward to Black Friday though. I am 27 and have never went shopping on Black Friday. Crazy right? I decided this year I am going to get all my Xmas shopping finished on Black Friday this year and am looking forward to the ad releases. I use BFAds.Net to see the early ad scan leaks and Menards has a few good things. I am anxiously waiting for more ads though.
