Paid Writing Opportunity

Contributor: Program Manager Program Manager
Friends, reviewers, and others-
We're overhauling parts of the site, namely the articles/guides. As such, we need a few good writers. I've already gleaned a few names from the community that stuck out in my mind, and you, whoever you are, will probably be contacted in the near future about certain writing tasks. However, I wanted to put out an open call. The following is our CL ad for this position:

We’re looking for writers of all genders and orientations who possess both a sense of humor as well as a working knowledge of human sexuality. The job is writing articles for a well-known sex toy e-tailer. The pay is .15/word (negotiable), for articles ranging from 500-1,000 words each.

Please send a small writing sample (under 200 words) on any topic (does not have to be sex-based) along with your reply. Also, please keep in mind that we are not seeking erotica; any and all writing will be of a socially conscious/clinically sexual perspective.

So, if you're interested, send the above to kendall@edenfantasys.c om. Please note that we would like something besides a review to evaluate for this work, so don't just send me a link/text from a toy review.

Thanks!

Question. I write well, I know a lot, but obviously there are some areas of sexuality that I might not know. Are reference materials available or is research part of any assignment to ensure that you are well qualified?

Well, this is a job, so research/knowledge is part of what you're being paid for. Writers will be paired up with article subjects they're more qualified and feel confident about writing, not just random topics.

If you are updating guides, are you going to ensure that links are stable? I know that some reviews actually link to the current guides.

ugh. I so wish this offer could have held out until I have graduated in a month and a half. I would LOVE to be a part of this, but I'm completely bogged down with my materials due to graduate in December. any chance there will be spots open then? (totally not counting on it)
but thanks for letting us know. It's an awesome opportunity.

There is a chance. If you still want to, send an email to partners when you have some time, and I'll put you in touch with the manager of the project.

Of course, that will be part of the task once it gets to that stage.

I assume we have to... the one listed above no longer exists! I tried sending an email to that address and the message bounced back.

We have a general site email, which is : partners@edenfantasys. com (it is mentioned a month ago in one of the past Program Manager posts) and there is my direct email: victoria@edenfantasys. com

I check both. Please remember that we are looking for professional writing, as the original post outlines. All of the instructions still apply. Thanks.
