I'm constantly discovering music, tv shows, and books that I love, whether they're new or just new to me. My current fascination is the band Mumford & Sons, and knowing me I'll listen to the CD over and over until I can't stand it for a while. So what's your newest band/cd/tv show/movie series/book obsession???

Gail Carriger's "Parasol Protectorate" series - steampunk and supernatural London, with plenty of references to dirigibles and tea. The misadventures of Alexia Tarabotti - a woman born without a soul and the inconvenience this causes to vampires and werewolves in her vicinity.

Zombie books for me. In the last few weeks I've read a bunch:
Day by day Armageddon and its sequel, Ex-Heroes, Dead End, The Living Dead anthology, and many more. I've also just got World War Z on audiobook.

Wow. The only Zombie book I've even attempted was Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and although the concept is great, the flow is occasionally lacking.

There's a Sephora store in a mall by us. I'm surprised she's come out of there some times.

Er, I don't really have a new obsession. Should I? lol I'm still obsessed with Modest Mouse's and Amanda Palmer/Dresden Doll music.

Its this place. I am hooked on eden. It has even taken over my facebook time.

Its a tie between an Industrial band called 19ninetynine from the UK. The WoW podcast I listen to, The Cynical Brit: Blue Plz!, featured it on his show since his brother is in the band.
And also a song called Still Doll by Kanon Wakeshima. Those who watch anime may recognize the song from the end credits of the anime Vampire Knight's first season. The music video kind of reminds me of the Sweeney Todd movie, complete with it's own "pervy-wanker" lmao.
And /agree with Jobthingy, lmao

I kept wondering, "Wow, what IS my newest obsession?" Because all the shows, music, and books weren't so recent... But yeah, it's totally Eden Fantasys. I'm on here every day, even if I don't do anything on the forum or in a review. "Ooooh let's go look at {insert type of toy here}!"

Dubstep! Any kind. The relaxed kind a la Mt. Eden (OH HEY. Eden Fantasys members should totally listen to Mt. Eden, even if just for the sake of the Eden-ness being shared) is melodious and sweet enough to sleep to, the deep dirty grime of Rusko and Flux Pavillion is hard and disgusting enough to fuck to, and the metal and rap and electro-grime style Borgore flashes around is good enough to grind & party all night dranks in hand. Mmm mmm mmmmmm.

I'd say my new obsession is the show The Big C, I'm really digging it! Also, my old obsession is the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl! I love that show. But I'm a Showtime/HBO series junkie!!
