We rarely go to the movie theaters. It's so much cheaper and more comfortable to rent and watch from home.
Would you rather watch movies in a theater or at home?

I like both. I go to the theater by myself at least once a month just to get away from home and the family. I go to the late viewings (10 PM and later) so there usually isn't too many people around. I like watching some movies up on the big screen, but I agree that it's cheaper to watch at home. I spend $10 on the ticket and don't buy any drinks or food. For me, it's worth the $10 to get out of the house.

We haven't been to a theater in years. I can't even remember the last movie we saw, it's been that long. The funny thing is, we have two free tickets that never expire. I just haven't seen anything come out that I must see in the theater. Naked on the couch and snuggling is always a better option, anyway.

I like watching movies at home, its more relaxing. However its nice to get out of the house, pay outragous prices. It reminds you how much cheaper it is to go home and watch the movies there.

At home is better for us. It's cheaper and we can watch as many movies as we want without wasting more money.

Psh, you mean to tell me you've never spent a day at the theater going from house to house? We used to do it all the time. We'd buy tickets, decide we hate the movie and then go into a different one. It was fun, especially in the mega theaters because no one is paying attention.

i prefer to watch them at home b/c i can get a lot more comfortable on the couch or bed. plus, if my bf is w/ me, we can cuddle. it's hard to cuddle in a theater.

I go to Rocky Horror in the theater every other weekend, but that's for the cult experience and it is well worth the $6.75 I pay for the experience. Otherwise, I almost always watch movies at home, unless something exciting is coming out and my friends are all really excited to see it. Even when that happens, we try to go at discounted times because we're all poor grad students. I'd rather sit at home with my friends, have some drinks, and talk through the whole thing (pausing when necessary) without people getting mad at us!

Most of the time I prefer to watch movies at home because I like being able to snuggle up with my husband, text, talk, leave a light on, eat popcorn without spending an arm and a leg, etc. We have some movie passes, but haven't had the time to go to the movies.

That's EXACTLY how I see it. Sometimes I'll take in a matinee if it's cheap and not too busy. I NEVER go on opening day.

I watch tons of movies at home, but I love going to the theater. I like the experience of the theater.

I prefer watching them at home. That way I can watch them again at my own convenience.

I prefer to watch them at home, there a big screen in the house and I can watch it on my own scheduled and the popcorn and drinks don't cost an arm and leg.

At home!... unless it's one of those movies that has really awesome effects that I'd miss at home.

I like both, but I find it more comfortable to watch them at home. I like to be able to lounge, and curl up on the couch.

Totally depends

We usually stay in and watch things. I think I've seen 3 movies in theater this year.

Sometimes I enjoy the cinema, but I usually prefer to stay at home away from the crowds.

Depends on the type of movie. Action movies are better on the big screen. Comedies are better on the small screen.

100 % at home. I can't stand all the loud can't get off their phone people at the movie theater. Maybe if it is a movie that really is better at the theater like a Star Wars or something.
