Who's ready for The Avengers?

Contributor: AngelvMaynard AngelvMaynard
There has been a few superhero topics on here this week. My oldest just showed me that they released the trailer for The Avengers. Any Marvel fans on the forum?
We love The Avengers around here. Can't wait for the movie. So many hot superheros in one movie!

Nah, I never really got into comic book stuff.

Did you ever go see Hysteria?

Yeah, that does look pretty good.

I was an X-Men/Spider-man/FF fan, but these Avenger cast movies have surprised me, esp Iron Man!

I loved the first Iron Man. Was disappointed in the 2nd one. We've seen all the movies leading up to this one. Thor was the biggest surprise to me. Loved it!!

Sadly, I haven't seen a movie in the theaters in a few years. We were never huge moviegoers, but now it's basically impossible with the kids.

The trailer looks pretty neat. I like how they released the individual character movies first (Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America). Too bad they didn't make a Hawkeye stand alone, that would have been cool with Jeremy Renner.

I was more of an X-men fan myself. I still have a few thousand (?) individually wrapped and boxed comic books in my basement. Yes, I'm an even bigger geek than most thought.

I like the movies but the purist in me hates how they've taken creative license and screwed with the timelines.

I am probably in the wrong genre - but I had a huge teenage crush on Emma Peel link

X-men was always our family's comic of choice. I agree, First Class was really well done (even though you have to forget the comic timelines).

Wrong Avengers! Hahaha But I loved the re-make of this one too. No one else in my house did though. I thought Uma Thurman was hot in her leather jumpsuit
