Other than a sex marathon, which marathon do you prefer: Movie marathon, tv show (30 minute episodes), tv show (60 minute episodes)?
Which type of marathon would you like to do?

I didn't notice this was in the TV section so I thought I'd say I'd like a biking marathon. That's not exactly one of the choices though. Maybe a marathon on a stationary bike while watching TV?

I have a lot of great memories centered around Buffy and Angel TV show marathons. My room mate and I spent many a Saturday for 4, 5, 8, maybe more hours saying "just one more episode."

I could definitely go for a Lord of the Rings extended additions marathon right now.

Tough choice between 30 minute TV episodes and movies because I love to do both

Inuyasha marathon! But I could do a harry potter or lord of the rings marathon pretty easy too.

A real marathon because I'm blah blah blah

Really any one of the marathons. T.V. is better since you don't have to wait two or three hours to take a break.

TV! *is in the middle of a Doctor Who marathon atm* >.>

I'd actually like to do one of those "dancing marathons" like they did during the dust bowl.

I'm glad you meant a TV marathon, instead of a real, running one! While, technically, a lot of the shows I watch are 42 minutes, I guess that's what you mean when you say 'one hour shows'. I'd quite happily sit down and watch Firefly in one sitting. Staying awake through it all is another matter, though.

Yes! I've been carving LotR like crazy for the past week or so. I even went in search of some slash fan-fiction and came up with some fantasies on my own, but I couldn't hear the voices of the actors in my head (important for me when it comes to movie slash). I need to watch the movies again.

I have Big Brother marathons nearly once a week. I need it to get me through the off season.

I love siting down and watching 2 or 3 episodes of LOST. have not done it for a while.

i prefer 30 min show marathons over hr long show marathons. it's easier for me to keep w/ it.

Definitely a TV marathon, and since most of my favorite shows are 30 min long, that's what I'd prefer.

Twilight Zone Marathons are the best. They just don't make BRAIN CANDY, thinking person horror stuff like that any more.

Our daughter got back from a semester studying in Scotland. They STILL do those there...with college students competing!

We realize we may be the only couple in the USA this way, but we NEVER could follow that show...not one single episode.

SUPERB idea. We actually did like the professional gyms do, and put TWO TV's in front of our stair-master and ski machine. In that way we can WATCH as show, have a silenced new channel on in case something "breaks" and still get a nice, longer workout.

Don't worry, you are not alone. Boy...haven't heard about Airwolf in a while. That was on for what, three episodes? Cool copter, however.

Anything on the Discovery Channel. I could sit and watch for hours on end.

I suppose it would depend on the movie and/or tv show before I watched a marathon. Usually don't have time for all that. I'd like to run a real marathon one day but that would require lots of training which I just don't have time for right now either.

I would watch either one. Tv or movie.

One of the best TV shows (one hour series) is ER.
The show lasted for 15 years! There is so much action, drama, and sub-plots that I could watch it for hours.
