Which TV shows do you think have good strong female characters? Which don't?

So as the title says: Which TV shows do you think have good strong female characters? Which do you think have the worse representation of women? Any shows that you believe have over/underrated women in them?

I got this idea after I mentioned Sanctuary in another thread, that show went from good and promising (see: Helen Magnus) to horrible (See: Abby).

I only watched s1, but Fringe did pretty well there with Olivia. I've found White Collar to have one of the least offensive portrayals of a woman in a relationship in Elle.

On the truly terrible side, House. Take one look at Cuddy's storyline.

Once Upon a Time, a new show this season, has a strong female lead. LOST was great with that too.

I find that even if the women are portrayed as smart, courageous, etc., they still tend to have to conform to certain "roles": white women must be trendy and thin, black women either have to try to be white women or are "large and in charge", Latinas are "willfull and spicy", etc.

I'd like to say my favorite female lead was Rosanne.

Allison Blake and Joe from Eureka are very strong female leads.

I'd agree with Cuddy from House, Scully from X-Files, and Olivia from Fringe.

I like Audrey in Haven, Lily and Robin in HIMYM, Scully from X-Files, and Lana Kane in Archer. I also think Dee in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is hilarious. She keeps up with the boys very well.

I think White Collar's women are the most unconventional and strongest female characters I've seen. El is strong, practical, imperfect, trusting, and some fans believe that she may be childfree. Diana Barrigan is one of Peter Burke's most trusted agents, and she's a lesbian. All of the characters of White Collar are well rounded and "human" is the best description.

Starbuck is a really awesome female lead. But BSG is hands-down amazing anyways, so. :3
