I don't rent movies, any more. Prices at my local cinema aren't as high as other places (though we still feel they're exorbitant. £5, altogether, for food and drinks? In my day it used to be £2 for everything. They used to even give you a rabbit. Showed you to your seats!), so we go when there's something very good on. Otherwise we wait for it to come on Sky Box Office, or the movie channels.

We have a theater here that shows movies for $2, so we just go there.

Holy shit... individual movie tickets aren't quite THAT much where I live... Before 5pm it's about $4.50 and after 5pm it's about $7 or $8. Which I think it's still expensive, but definitely not that much.

Now as for the concessions... that's always going to be high because that's how most theaters make their money.

We rarely go out to the movies at all. There is a small theater here in town (the next nearest standard sized theater is ~40 minutes away) that's pretty cheap and we'll sometimes hit up, but usually we'll just watch stuff on Netflix. Neither of us follow new movies too religiously.

We really like to rent from RedBox, and we also like to go to the movies (probably once a month if that).

We have Netflix, so we watch that a lot. Blockbuster is also closing, so we bought a bunch of really cheap movies.

we watch whats on tv, or buy a dvd. we dont go to the movies very often to watch grown up movies. We go all the time for kids movies. They boys PTA sells a block of tickets for $.80 each, for kids movies. Not new ones, the ones that are about to come out on dvd. But the kids have fun, and thats all that counts.

I would say I see 20% of movies in the theater and stream the rest online.

I like how you didn't put any other options. Yeah, some of us are smart enough to use our computers to watch whatever we want for free. :|

Tickets are only $7 weekdays where I am, so I'll see them then or borrow DVDs from friends.

usually if i go to the movies, i go to the dollar movies. xP but still..popcorn is tempting.

sometimes i go to the more expensive theater..but that's usually if someone else is willing to pay for my ticket. XD

besides that, i watch movies on netflix or tv. i used to rent from redbox but it's kind of silly now that we have netflix..although now that i think of it, sometimes netflix doesn't have the same movies redbox does.
