Well, we all know that the smaller a file type is the worse the music quality can be...

MP3 files are still the most popular, and myself I am fine with it and try to get it all the time if possible...

Is there another file type you prefer more for music? And why?

I have no problem with it on my phone. It's not as good as listening via laptop (I have an entertainment PC) but it's not bad at all. I listen mostly to rock, metal. I've got a few songs on my Kindle and it sounds REALLY good!

...however it comes on iTunes and Amazon usually, I only seek out other places to buy music if it's something so obscure I can't find it in either of those places.

mp3s are still where its at. thought i buy from itunes which which are mp4a i usually just convert them so i can play them when its not on my ipod.
