I'm not a big fan as I find his work to be a little too dark for me but I did enjoy The Stand.

Never read that one. I've mostly just seen the movies instead of reading his books. Not seen them all, but they are great. I can't recall exactly which I'd say my fav is since I don't remember all the ones I've even seen. I liked the rose red or whatever it was.

It's a toss-up for me: the Stand and the Shining. I read the Shining first, when I was about 10, but I've read them both a lot. I also love The Talisman.

I love the Shining and Under The Dome. It's a great novel. Of course, I haven't read his entire collection, but I couldn't put down Under The Dome, even though it comes in at 1074 pages.

The Dark Half for sure
I did enjoy the original Carrie movie though I've never read the books and I've watched countless movies of his - such as the Rose Red special scyfy used to air around Halloween. Buttt I've only read two of his books.

The Dome was good!
Haven't read much of his other stuff, though.

got burned out on his writing. especially the "hand of god" endings after 1000 pages. sheesh, does he get paid by the word?
