I'm always a sucker for a good fantasy story - Lord of the Rings, Song of Ice & Fire (HBO's Game of Thrones), Excalibur. You can pretty much throw sci-fi in there too

Same here, as long as it doesn't suck like a Syfy movie.

I prefer horror/scary movies that aren't all about blood and guts. A good movie just can't look fake.

I like British comedy: "Red Dwarf", "Shawn of the Dead", "Hot Fuzz", Monty Python, and the like. I almost instantly loathe most Hollywood comedies. They just aren't funny to me.
