What do you think about the rap and hiphop fashion? :D

Well, I must admit that the females are like WOW in such a style (though am rather open minded than a lover of such tunes, and in the manner of clothing I just find it plain ridiculous, at least those typical funny clothes... ) - but the males... I could call them anything but manly!

NO OFFENSE OF COURSE, it doesn't mean that one shouldn't accept different tastes, it is just not my style... ~smiles laying ears blushy

What are your (polite and moderate!!!) thoughts about it?

I am used to seeing it in my culture. So it does not surprise me that some of them can wear some ridiculous crap half the time. Sometimes I just shake my head. Then you have the people who want to copy and wear what they wear, I just can't do it. I have my own fashion style, either you like it or you don't

I think alot of it just looks trashy. I have no problem with people dressing like they want but sometimes they obviously don't even try to look in a mirror.

I don't think about it, really. I agree with JLH, some of it is just ridiculous sometimes!

Who doesn't remember that one episode of the Cosby show when Theo asked his sister to make a shirt for him? I wonder if that style is a trend again...

Oh man that thing was...so hideous! I can still see it! Haha

And like you, I don't really think about it. It's not my style but the fact that some of it is considered formal wear kind of bothers me if I think about it for too long.

I'm not a fan of rap or hip hop at all. (I guess I'm too old, it just sounds like shouting to me.)

I didn't even know there was specific "rap" fashions, except for women wearing tiny, sequined booty shorts and guys wearing clothing that is too big for them.... and what's the deal with.... gym shoes? I don't get it.

Again, not my thing.

I giggle at the really ridiculous ones, but I try to ignore them for the most part. I can't stand the music at all, more than the style of dress.

I was just going to type about this (shoes), but figured I would leave it out.

I have two cousins that are 15 and 17 and my older cousins told them it was cool to wear shoes that were to big for them because it makes girls think your dick is bigger. Now they wear shoes that are 3 times their sizes because of this. They can't even walk, they just drag their shoes.

I don't listen to rap and thus have no idea what rap fashion is now. If it's still baggy pants and too expensive versions of (as P'Gell said) gym shoes, I'm not a fan. My husband wears too baggy of pants and it drives me crazy. Ugh. He obsesses over his shoes as well, but he wears DCs.

Is that why? OMG. (about the shoes.) I had no idea.

Why do they always have to be brand new and so clean? Damn, my Chucks (high top pink) are years old and beat to shit. But, I don't have a dick, so... It's such a teenage boy thing to think and do. Almost cute.

I guess I don't get rap at all.

I don't get it. Or really like it. I much prefer a simple, polished look. More Jackie O than Nickie Minaj.(?) I don't like stuff on my shirts, and prefer to wear clothes that fit appropriately, rather than swing two sizes in either direction.
