The Millennium Trilogy?

Contributor: Azule Azule
I just watched the whole Swedish version of the Millennium Trilogy, (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Played with Fire, and Kicked the Hornet's Nest). If anyone has seen the American version and the Swedish version, do you think the new one with Daniel Craig is worth watching? How different did you think it was? Thanks.

Is that what the trilogy is called? Didn't know that!

I've seen the first two Swedish ones and the American one. They change a couple things, but still film in the same locations and twist the plot a little bit. But the MAIN story is still there. I thought it was a good redo.

I have only heard of the girl with the dragon tattoo. have not seen it yet, but it looks like a good movie.

I read them all. Loved them, but haven't seen any of the movies. I wonder if the next book that was found after Stieg Larsson's death will ever be published?

Not unless his estate (which went to family) can come to terms with his girlfriend (who has possession of the final book). Right now the whole thing is so acrimonious I don't see it happening soon.

I refuse to watch the new one. I like the Swedish version too much and I don't want the American version to ruin that for me.
