I went to see the midnight showing. It turned out to be a lot better than I was expecting. I was a little surprised at how few people showed up, though Tuesday was on odd day of the week to release a movie.

Agreed! I was definitely skeptical when I heard they were rebooting the series, but I was surprised how good this actually was.
