I love the Dark Half, but my mom read S.K. to me when I was like six or seven.
I grew up wanting to write horror and wanting to marry one of his sons and have my new father-in-law write a prologue to my first novel.
As you can see, the restraining order came first. LOL jk.

The Eyes of the Dragon was the first Stephen King book I ever read. Creepshow is a smaller comic book kinda thing. Misery is great, so is The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Storm of the Century was great, and my favorites are a toss up between From A Buick 8 and Riding the Bullet.

I'm an absolutely huge King fan and I think Gerald's Game is his worst book. I'd also avoid Under the Dome. Some of my favs include: It, The Stand, Bag of Bones, Hearts in Atlantis, Needful Things, Duma Key, 'Salem's Lot, and Insomnia.

I LOVE It and The Stand, *ahem, Dark Tower are the best books I've ever read, ahem*...

I have almost every Stephen King book... i love his books. But i didn't enjoy Gerald's Game all that much either. I thought it was going to be really good when i first got it, but was pretty disappointed :/ I finished reading "Horns" by Joe Hill (Stephen Kings son) Have any of you read it?
