Futurama. I loved that show so much and I have heard they make new episodes on occasion but I can never find them. I wish new ones came out as often as Family Guy
Shows you are sad they cancelled/stopped

Solitary. I was seriously bummed about that. I thought it was a fabulous concept. And for those not in the know, which I'm sure most of you aren't, Solitary is a game show. Nine contestants compete for a $50,000 prize. It's kind of a cross between Fear Factor and Survivor. Each contestant lives in a pod for an unknown number of days. Val, a computerized voice instructs them to do challenges, eat, or sleep. They cannot see or interact directly with other contestants. During each challenge, the player can quit and they are immediately sent home. Meanwhile, the other contestants continue with the challenge until it's either finished or time runs out. They learn at that time if anyone quit and ultimately who is going home.
They are deprived of their identities, known only by their number and given protein bars to eat. Sometimes a win during a challenge gives them a meal of their choice, sometimes they are awarded sleep or a telephone call to someone on the outside.
Anyway, it's basically a really great social experiment involving Pavlov's repsonse and Stockholm syndrome. less

Boston Legal. I loved Denny Crane (William Shatner) and Alan Shore's (James Spader) friendship, they were genuine and funny as hell.

There were talks of a 4.0 but then something happened to the G4 network. Occasionally, I see mention of bringing G4 back...but nothing ever comes of it. They may be trying to get it on TruTv, but that's just speculation because they are moving Wipeout to TruTv.

If I could pick only one, it would be Firefly, hands down.

After nearly 17 years of operation, Cafe Montmartre, Madison, Wisconsin a bar/club that hosted some absolutely outstanding musicians closed its doors in 2009.

In the early 90s, I was absolutely livid when the remake of Dark Shadows was canceled. It was canceled due to low viewership. The problem was nobody could be watching it, because half the time it was preempted due to coverage of Operation Desert Storm. Lame.
I miss Strangers with Candy as well.

I miss The Gates too, usually the shows about vampires, werewolves, and witches are pretty popular, don't know why this one didn't last.

Carpoolers. It was really funny and the writer's strike fucked it over a barrel.

Lord feel old. MASH.

Dark Angel and True Calling.
08/07/2011
Human Target, Angel (Joss Whedon!!!), Legend of the Seeker (only about 9 episodes into season 1 but so far I'm loving it!). If only I liked reality tv. Then there would be tons of shows to watch that go on forever.

While I don't do favourites, I agree that I would pick Firefly. Beyond that, Boston Legal and Lie To Me.

Firefly

I also thought Angel could have gone another season or two. Dead Like Me is another one that really could have just kept going. Two seasons just wasn't enough, and I really feel like there could have been so much more character development in future seasons. I appreciated their attempt to revive it with the movie, but while I liked parts of the movie, I don't think it was done very well.

I second the Joss-loss.
Eureka was just added to this list
They're going to finish Season 5, but not do 6

We loved this show. Supposedly it was "too expensive to make." That's what happens when networks start to rely on reality shows, which are inexpensive to make and they don't have to pay good writers, actors, directors etc.

If people STOP watching reality shows, good dramas will come back to TV. It's that simple.
I really miss My Name is Earl, again the network said it was "too expensive" to continue. Yeah. Making shit like "Wipe Out" and things with drunk Guidos fighting is cheaper and just as intellectually stimulating. (Heaven sarcasm.)

The only ones I like are Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, Ghost Hunters, and Ghost Hunters International.

I hear Chuck's being cancelled? You know, again? Really quite upset by that. I'm still waiting to watch the fourth season!

Firefly was definitely a good one I agree

The George Lopez show just got the axe. Not really sure if I'm heart-broken or not.

I hate most of them, too. I will watch what we call "Ghosty shows" and the occasional "Billy the Exterminator." The ones I can't stand are the manufactured Drama shows, Big Brother, Jersey Shore, anything with the word "Bachelor" or "Bachelorete" in it etc. People screaming and swearing at each other makes my stomach hurt.

Billy the Exterminator is a polite Country Boy. He respects his Mama and Daddy. Not much drama in the family, but I like seeing him catch snakes and stuff and he's really funny.
