My mom has watched soap operas since she was a teenager and they were only around 30min's long. She's sad they are losing All My Children and One Life to Live. She doesn't have internet so she won't be able to watch them online if it comes to that. Is anyone else sad to see them go and did you grow up watcfhing them like she did?
Are you sad that ABC is canceling a couple of soaps?

I never really got into any of the present-day soaps, so I won't be missing them, but some of my friends will, including my best friend and her mom.

I can not say I am sad that to see them go

I didn't watch these soaps, so it doesn't phase me much, but I do watch Y&R on CBS, and if they ever cancelled that, yes it would bother me

My Mum has watched All My Children since my brother (who is now 33) was a baby. 41 years is a LONG time for a show to be around. Mum wasn't all that phased, she had really stopped watching it religiously when my Grandmother passed in '05.

I've never really watched soaps, so it doesn't affect me that much.

I was a faithful soap watcher from a teenager to motherhood. I finally stopped watching them when my 13-year old was a baby. Not sorry to see them go!

My mom is upset, but I really didn't watch them myself

have never watched them, so it does not matter to me. Every show has a expiration date.

I'm kinda glad they're going really. I was never a big fan of them really. I watched a couple different ones over the years, off and on.

No, I never watched them, and my mom didn't either. So I don't really feel anything about them being cancelled.
