My sister and i LOVE playing Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., etc.
We have an N64 but it got messed up...so should i replace the N64 and buy a new Super Smash Bros. (it stopped working)...OR should i get Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mario Kart Double Dash for Gamecube?

I have Wii, and Mario Kart for it. It's really a lot of fun, plus the price of Wii is a lot lower nowadays.

The gamecube option is tempting, I've been debating that myself. But I love my N64, if it broke I would most likely replace it.

I'm pretty sure a lot of those games can be purchased in the Wii store, so it'd be the best of both worlds if you got a Wii! Of course if you can get the games, that is.

Get a Wii and buy the games on the online channel.

Get a Wii that has the backwards compatibility for Gamecube games. Some games on the N64 were remade for Gamecube.

the wii is alright. i do love the mario kart on that version... but also on the 64! i prefer the 64 to the wii.

Get the wii and download all of your old n64 games on the wii shop. The newer wii models (not the wii u just the newer black wiis that come with new super Mario bros) dont play GameCube games anymore.

Gamecube can be skipped, N64 is the best console ever but a wii could be fun as you can still download alot of those classic games.

I keep ALL of my last generation consoles, so I'd suggest replacing them. Games like that are near and dear to our hearts! I actually thought the gamecube was worthwhile for it's time since it had one of my all-time favorite games on it.(Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem) It is true that the Wii allows you to download lots of classic games, so it could be worth checking out.

Gamecube is nice, but I believe you can play the discs on a wii, so no need to buy both consoles.
