Jane Fletcher writes some awesome fantasy novels. All of them but the last one ("Shadow of the Knife") that I read ended happy. Of course I didn't read her latest two additions yet because the last one was not my taste at all. My favorite is "The Temple At Landfall".

Another good author is a new one. Merry Shannon. Both her books are really good. Also fantasy-ish. (Hehe a favorite genre of mine.)
