Has anyone tried both of these services? My wife and I have netflix, but we're thinking about switching over to Hulu beings there is nothing on netflix that we really want to see anymore. Not really sure how well hulu does though. Our netflix seems to always run really slow too. Just wondered if anyone has a compartive opinion on this topic
Netflix vs hulu

We use netflix!

I love netflix but if you are looking for more tv shows/current episodes then go with hulu. Netflix is always a season behind.

BOTH! Hulu also has random shows that are exclusively with them

I like Hulu. I've used Netflix for a little bit but the recent stuff going on with their company is suspect.

I prefer Hulu, seems to work OK for me. I agree, seems like a lot of movie companies are gonna start to put a stop on streaming their movies through Netflix. With RedBox and so many other alternatives out there, I find it hard to justify the cost of Netflix.

I have Netflix, so I'm a little bias. Hulu is fine too though.

We have Netflix as well.

We pay for Netflix every month, and use Hulu's free service to catch up on shows that we don't have room to record on our DVR (scheduling conflicts).

Netflix is better in general, but if you absolutely must be up-to-date or close to it with current shows then hulu is better for you.

I like Netflix better personally, but we really only use it once in a while.

netflix is best for me.

Hulu is okay, but I use Netflix most.

Stay away from HULU! Tried it and it was horriable! It froze and buffered all the time. The selection sucks! And the quality is like watching it on a crappy laptop! Granted Netflix is only a little better, but at least it loads fast and plays smoothly.

I use both. hulu for current shows and some overseas stuff like anime and live action shows from japan and korea.
netflix is for everything else. though their content is lacking sometimes for the streaming stuff. I never liked their DVD service anyway.
as far as quality goes hulu is TV level quality (480p) and has commercials.
netfix steps it up a bit with DVD quality (720p). though netflix quality can vary greatly with your ISP's speed.
the issue is which one has the content you want? and how good is your connectivity?

I have both....
Netflix is great
Hulu not so much... I dont get why I'm paying for a service when alot of the shows I wanna see are free to watch on the internet but I cant watch them off the xbox....
I'm trying to talk my bf into dropping hulu and just paying for cable

I have netflix and have used both, and I just can't deal with paying to watch commercials on hulu, so I canceled it.

Selene
Netflix, well worth it. Watching HULU is like watching commercials with a little show between.

I use Netflix all the time. They have a lot of crappy shows/movies on there, but it's not too hard to weed through the bad ones to find the gems!

I prefer Netflix.. I've used hulu online and didn't really care for it.

I use Netflix. I prefer to go through entire seasons at a time. Hulu is good if you missed the latest episode, though.
