Yes. We got a Kindle originally, and loved it. Recently we went to the ipad, and really love it. We especially like being able to share books back and forth.

I love my Nook so hard! I got the 7" touch screen version (HD) and can't wait to get my books on there instead of physically. Plus, getting my own platform for Angry Birds was good too!

I got a Kobo for Christmas. It is Border's answer to the Kindle. At first I was so excited, then when Borders started having financial trouble, problems started happening with the Kobo. It is nearly impossible to download books, you can no longer do it remotely, you have to go to the Kobo site (NOT Borders) then buy the book, then download it to Adobe, then transfer it from Adobe to your Kobo.

My Man was told when he bought it I could buy books anytime and anyplace, but as the hook up to Borders via WiFi has been out of service since the end of December, I have a $100.00 piece of useless junk on my hands.
I wish he had done his research and bought either a Kindle or the Nook.

Nope we do not have one.

This is why, if anything happens to Barnes and Nobles, I hope they get bought out by Amazon. I'd love to get Amazon prices on a 7" touch screen.

That would be great. No one has bought Borders, yet, so I'm stuck with a Reader that is mostly useless.

You might want to look into Calibre then. It's a freebie program that can convert Kindle books into loads of other formats, and I think Nook may be one of them. Just a thought

Wait a minute - you have to go to a completely different site to download the books, then use a third party program (Adobe) to get them onto the reader!? Uh-uh. That's ridiculous. The Borders site is still up and running and they're pimping the new Kobo Touch. If your reader is not operating as promised to your husband upon purchase, they should upgrade you for free. I would send a strongly worded letter to customer service (cc corporate HQ), and prep something for the BBB.

I love my kindle. I use it all the time. But it still doesn't stop me from reading my large collection of paper books.
