It has been all the talk around the water cooler. From "what on earth was that", to "heart touching". What was your opinion?
What did you think of Jodie Fosters "acceptance" at the Golden Globes last night?

I thought it was a little out of place. Didn't quite seem to be the appropriate time or place for that little speech. But, according to all of the Hollywood rags the Globes are a joke anyway.
Who cares? She has more money than God and her opinions are just like everyone else's...just an opinion.

I liked what she had to say about privacy, and she's been one of those very few actors or actresses who is very private about her life.

I'm surprised people are surprised that Jodie Foster is a lesbian. As it was said on the Oscar episode of Futurama "The Golden Globes are the Emmys of film". The only worse award show is the People's Choice Awards.

Anyway, I just think this whole "he's gay, she's gay, s/he's bisexual" coming out trend needs to be met with a nod and no reaction other than that. It's kind of like saying the sky is blue or at least it should be and when we start treating it that way, things will just fall into place.

I think she might have spent some time preparing a more coherent speech, but I'm glad she came out and I LOVED her comments on privacy.
