Totally agree with the muppet christmas carol. I introduced it to my kids so I could keep watching it every year.

I thought the one with Jim Carrey was pretty close to the book. We watched it last week. I have never seen the Muppet one. I'll have to check it out.

Muppet Christmas Carol was definitely the most fun version. Michael Caine totally owned Scrooge in that one.
I still have a place in my heart for the Alastair Sim version, as it's an in-depth character study of Scrooge which really addressed his spiritual decay and why he needed divine intervention.
