EDIT: Wait, that wasn't a Christmas Carol, that was just a Christmas special... I liked the Muppet Christmas Carol too though. Just saying.

I thought the one with Jim Carrey was pretty close to the book. We watched it last week. I have never seen the Muppet one. I'll have to check it out.

Muppet Christmas Carol was definitely the most fun version. Michael Caine totally owned Scrooge in that one.

I still have a place in my heart for the Alastair Sim version, as it's an in-depth character study of Scrooge which really addressed his spiritual decay and why he needed divine intervention.

LOL I love that one as well but my favorite is still the original book by Mr. Dickens. Still some of the adaptations have been amazing over the years. I love the premise and the spirit of the story.
