Do you read the books first before you see a movie based on them? :)

Always the book first. The book is always better (with the exception of the Notebook, the book sucked, the movie was great)

No; depends when I hear stuff first. For example, when I was young, I read a lot of books so I always managed to have read the book first before the movie came out. Now, I really don't have time to read anymore. If a movie intrigues me, then I will read the book (e.g. hunger games).

I try to. It doesn't always work out that way.

I don't mind watching a movie before reading the book. Actually, I watch more movies with you than books I read.

No, I think reading what the film is based on would ruin it for me. If it's good enough, I'll go back and read the book, though.

I will watch the movies of the books that I've read. I don't always read the book if I've seen the movie. I've never gone out of my way to read a book just because I want to see the movie though .

Absolutely, but I am more a book person than a movie person. Some movies based on books are really excellent though. Never QUITE as good as the book, but good anyway.
