I played a bit as a child. My obsessed brother was not into sharing, so it was a very small bit of actually having a hand on a controller.
I play some now as an adult. I used to be into WoW hardcore, but ended up quitting after I decided not to raid in Cata. Right now I am (impatiently) waiting for The Secret World to release (or at least go into beta!) because that is going to be -my game-.

He's played WoW casually, but played FFXIV hardcore. Now, he's casual about it, but still plays games. He's impatiently waiting for Battlefield 3 to come out in a couple weeks.

My parents were pretty restrictive about video games when I was a kid. I was allowed a little handheld baseball game when I was about 8 but that was the first one I had. I played Ataris/Nintendos at friend's houses a bunch.
Finally got a Nintendo 64 around 5th/6th grade and my sister and I played that a ton. I was a little more into computer games, Civilization II was my mainstay there, but also Sim City and its variants. Mostly slower paced strategy type games.
We have a Wii and Super Nintendo in our house right now. Not crazy hardcore gamers, but definitely something we enjoy!

I played a lot as a child, now I only play on occasion, but I still like my video games.

We have an Xbox; my husband plays more frequently than I do. He enjoys puzzle games and first person shooters and those aren't really my favorites to play. I like in-depth role playing games.
I've been sucked into Dragon Age: Origins. I've got almost thirt-seven hours into the game play and I've still only traveled 20% of the world. It's probably going to take me three years to finish this thing---there are six different main character choices and each one awards a different achievement for just starting the character and playing through the first couple of battles. I thought about having multiple characters going at once, but I decided I didn't want to mix up the histories and things like that. It's a lot to take in at once.
I apologize for rambling, I just can't get over how large this game really is. I'm having a blast and I haven't found a comparable game, yet.

I started playing when I was a wee lad. I don't play like I used to, pretty much just on my phone or my iPad.

DA:O is really gorgeous. I ended up preferring the second game because it's closer to my preferred playstyle, but Origins deserves a recommendation for the in-camp dialogue alone.

I played video games a lot as a kid, then got out of it for a while, back into it, out of it, and now I'm back into it again. It's kinda cyclical for me I guess. Boyfriend is a big Nintendo fan so we have a lot of games floating around the house.

I started playing video games quiet some time ago as a child. I still play them just not as often.

I haven't played the second one yet. I've heard mixed opinions on it, though. Some said the story could have used a little bit of help and others had no complaints at all. And I do love the in-camp scenes. They're fantastically brilliant---for a video game.

I think I started playing video games when I was 4 or 5, around the time my brother left for college and left me his nintendo and SNES to play with while he was gone. I've been a bit of a gamer ever since. I'm a hardcore fan of Nintendo products, Kingdom Hearts, and LoL.

I started playing when I was around 4 or 5. My dad used to have flight simulators on his computer and I would play them all the time and that was back when people still used joysticks. But after a while I ended up playing the NES we had until it died. I still play video games, what can I say, I'm a gamer.

I didn't play a lot when I was a kid. My parents didn't have the money for video game systems. It wasn't until high school until I beat the first mario bros. game.
Nowadays, I only really play RB3 occasionally.

I started when I was 4 (Sonic on Sega Genesis, baby!) and haven't stopped since. Hah!

I started out watching my older brother play his games, then started playing them for myself around eleven or twelve. I still play them to this day.

I've played off and on as a child, mostly with my cousin who loved them. I was never much of a gamer, though.
My boyfriend is the biggest gamer I've ever met, though. He spends every free moment gaming (aside from the time we are together. He certainly doesn't neglect me ) but he is a PC gamer.

I play video games. I started as a child - around 8 or 9, because my friends were raving about one game or another, and I got one just to see what all the fuss was about. Been into it ever since.
10/11/2011
I'm a game nerd here and been playing since the days of the old brick gameboy.
10/11/2011
Yeah I play games. I used to play other genres but since Rock Band came out, that's all I play anymore. Obsessively probably.
I used to play games as a kid too with my parents.

I love video games. I never use to play when I was younger. I did play grand theft auto for PS2. Now, that I'm living with my boyfriend who is a video game junkie! I'm hooked. I need my daily fix of call of duty (zombie map packs) Can't go to bed without killing some zombies.

I'll play a few things on our PS3 or Wii occasionally, but I usually get my fix after about an hour and then ignore video games for a month or 2.

Xbox is the best. i love the games

I like zombie video games.

I do, but I have only played Final Fantasy. Im terribly big on video games, but I do that series. My husband on the other hand loves, LOVES video games and wished I played more. But it's hard for me to do any games like Call of Duty because I get motion sickness just watching him play.

I started playing games about... 25 years ago. I was young and the games were basic then. I'm still a gamer, but I'm not playing often lately.
I used to be a video game tester for Activision too.

My husband would love to be a videogame tester. That'd be his second dream job. Making them would be the first. He played Black Ops as well and is now playing Battlefield 3.
